Two creative professionals from Finland, Antti Laitinen and Jarkko Kallio founded FRENN in 2013 fulfilling the need to update menswear traditions with innovation and ease. They both have over twenty years experience in the textile and clothing industry, earning their stripes in major Finnish textile and design firms. FRENN arose from a desire to create pieces that people would cherish for years, if not decades. Name FRENN comes from words fresh and Nordic.

Sustainable Nordic Menswear

FRENN is sustainable Nordic menswear designed in Helsinki. With FRENN a contemporary uniform means relaxed sophistication spiced with a sporty feel. A modern suit does not always need to be conservative to be presentable. FRENN believes in casual formality with comfort and exceptional ease along with clever details, always in impeccable quality. With FRENN it is easy to feel and look good, not having to think about what to wear to which occasion, work or play. FRENN is responsibly hand-manufactured locally in Northern Europe from premium, ecologically sourced European materials.

Honest Finnish Design

FRENN collections are always thoroughly designed to the smallest detail in an uncompromised method for everyday living. Each garment has a delicate detail making it very FRENN in a unique way from the colour of the button thread to the perfect cut. Bright blue is the key colour in buttons, prints, embroidery and symbols on the products. The prints are Finnish designs, every season. There is always something new and innovative in the collection, but some of the best favourite basic styles continue from season to season, updated only a little. Trans-seasonal classics like the soft hybrid blazers, relaxed but smart trousers and sporty but elegant parkas continue as a base for the unmistakable FRENN look. Transparency, long lasting design, materials and products are in the core of FRENN´s sustainable and ethical strategy.

Award-Winning Design

FRENN was honoured with the Design Deed of the Year 2017 award in Finland. FRENN is available in France, Japan, Germany and Finland and has been featured among others in Monocle, Wallpaper, GQ, L’Uomo Vogue, Highsnobiety and Hypebeast.
